any good quality yarn or thread made with a firm twist.

These patterns were designed on a Brother KH-910 Electroknit knitting machine,
a standard gauge knitting machine.
Other machines can be used, provided they can do lace.

Lace designs for transferring to the machine are included
as well as charts for doing
hand-transferring to create the lace patterns.Other lace patterns or other standard gauge machines that do lace transfer may be used.
Instructions are given on how to make the triangular or
trapezoid-shaped pieces. Shapes are put together to form
blocks to be used alone or put together with other blocks
for a larger project such as a tablecloth or bedspread.
